Viking's design methodology has produced a popular yacht
with many custom features and at one million dollars less
than new "Sea Student" has a great bottom line.
The on deck salon is equally special. Climate controlled,
the salon features push lounge seating and an entertainment
system along with special privacy afforded by sliding
polished stainless steel framed doors to the aft deck. An
electrically operated roof brings the sun and stars aboard
at your whim with the touch of a finger. The electrically
adjusted helm seat provides the operator with perfect
driving form and peerless visibility to all compass points.
Additional helm area seating maximizes convenience for
guest.
Below, three staterooms, including a full beam master suite
are each served with a private head and stall shower
delivering remarkable private accommodations and comfort. A
fourth crew stateroom aft also is available. The galley is
full featured and world class.
An exhaustive standard equipment list includes a laundry
center, a 22.5 kW Genset, high-speed rudders, and bow
thrusters.

Aft Deck
Outside is where it happens on the V70. The aft deck is
easily accessed through expansive sliding glass doors. Sun
pads with adjustable headrests make for comfortable lounging
in the sun. The deck is teak planked for comfortable outdoor
living. A dining table folds easily to change the space. A
wet bar with refrigerator, sink, electric grill and icemaker
provides cool drinks and juicy burgers. A telescoping
passerelle provides dockside boarding at exotic locations.
Underneath all this are two garages stowing a jet ski and a
jet-powered tender. Head down the ladder to access the
engine room and a separate captains quarters with its own
head and shower.

Main Salon
The main salon has a customized plush couch with leather
ottomans, a considerably more comfortable arrangement than
factory standard. Huge windows let in natural light and
provide a sense of space. Relax on the couch and enjoy the
state of the art entertainment system. Beautifully crafted
cherry cabinets hide the convenient wine bar with
refrigerator and wine storage. An electrically operated
sunroof brings the sun and stars aboard with push of a
button.

Galley
The L shaped galley maximizes convenience with all
appliances centrally located. A floor to ceiling pantry
slides out for easy access. A large refrigerator and freezer
provide ample storage.

Master Stateroom
The full beam master suite is lush with cherry joinery and
rich wall treatments. A dressing table to port and settee to
starboard add a special intimate touch. The ensuite head and
shower ensures privacy. A large entertainment center and
closet space complete the amenities.

Guest Stateroom
Two single berths are to port with an entertainment system
and a private head and shower. Ports provide natural light
and elegant soft goods give a rich feel.

VIP Stateroom
Up forward is the VIP stateroom. It is very spacious with a
full size berth and its own head and shower. As with the
other staterooms it has its own entertainment center and
climate control. Ports to the sides and overhead provide a
sense of space and let in natural light.

Helm
The helm seat has all controls and gauges located properly
to maximize control of the yacht. The seat is electrically
adjustable providing optimum visibility and comfort. A
sliding door to starboard provides quick access to the side
deck. All the best electronics are there with:

Crew Quarters
Aft below the sun pads a ladder provides access to the
engine room and captains quarters. A separate head and
shower keep the captain comfortable.

Decks
All hardware is the finest stainless steel. A heavy-duty
windlass helps with anchoring. Teak decking is easy on the
feet. Rails are tough and sturdy. Side decks are wide.

Engine Details
"Sea Student" has and upgraded engine package with
twin Caterpillar C32's at 1675 horsepower each. An extended
warranty is available. This gives her performance in the low
40-knot range and an easy cruise in the mid thirties. Purrs
like a kitten.
